pastor’s council The Pastor’s Council identifies God’s direction for Hope Community and evaluates our progress in God’s plan. The Pastor’s Council consists of those individuals actively leading some ministry connected with Hope Community. While not all ministry leaders serve on the Pastor’s Council, all such leaders who’ve demonstrated that they’re faithful, available, and teachable are invited to join the Council.
Rob Miller scripture readers Rob coordinates Sunday morning Scripture readers, serves as a Greeter, and occasionally preaches. Rob is currently leading the start up of a charter school for students with Cerebral Palsy. Rob and wife have four kids; one adult daughter in Denver, twins in college (Ohio and Kansas) and a son at Ridgeview High School.
Dan Nygaard leader/pastor With 25 years pastoral experience, Dan’s seen a lot and remains convinced the church is the best hope for the world. He’s travelled to Israel and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Dan’s a good story-teller, occasional writer, and pretty good listener. Married 33 years to a great lady with two boys: the oldest is at Georgia Tech (and an Air Force veteran); the youngest is teaching conversational English in South Korea.
Eloise Priest welfare inspirer Eloise watches out for those among us in need of personal, caring attention. She helps them access the resources available at Hope Community, and guides them into the support the poor and elderly too often lack. Eloise and her husband are retired, and have our adult children (and grandchildren) who live throughout the Rocky Mountain region. |
