pastor’s council The Pastor’s Council identifies God’s direction for Hope Community and evaluates our progress in God’s plan. The Pastor’s Council consists of those individuals actively leading some ministry connected with Hope Community. While not all ministry leaders serve on the Pastor’s Council, all such leaders who’ve demonstrated that they’re faithful, available, and teachable are invited to join the Council.
Eddie Castro fellowship inspirer A highly awarded public school teacher who is fluent in Spanish, Eddie has a servant’s heart. It’s his job to constantly challenge Hope Community, provoking us towards becoming an authentic church. Eddie is an encourager, and occasionally preaches. Married to a talented artist, they have two sons—one in California, one working on an MBA at Northwestern. contact Eddie
Carl Elliott home groups inspirer Sensitive and welcoming to others, Carl and wife Ginger make their home a gathering place where friends can find refreshment and encouragement. Their Friday night home fellowship provides a great opportunity to dig into God’s word and fellowship over a common meal. Carl’s a craftsman. His spirit of gentleness is an oasis of hope for all who have the good fortune to experience it. Carl has adult children, and he and his wife have a middle-school daughter.
Mark Fusher worship inspirer A talented musician and gifted leader, Mark’s goal is to gently usher you into the presence of your heavenly Father. Mark has a unique sensitivity to the things of God. He occasionally preaches, too. Mark and his wife run their own business. They have three adult children.
